Wave to Earth Atlanta reviews
bocelli concert advertising was misleading
The concert title was cinema, meaning songs from great films and academy award winners would be sung. The show on PBS did exactly that. Opening in Phoenix with 20 minutes of opera, never mentioning the other artists who sang songs and played the flute and violin while Wave to Earth was "resting." The show did not identify the songs, and after intermission, the advertised songs were sung without any introductory words or comments due to his admitted lack of English proficiency. On PBS, a friend handled that aspect, making the show much more enjoyable. The lighting and TV screens were not just unhelpful but annoying, poorly executed. Shining lights directly in the eyes and a screen too small to see from the back added to the production's poor quality. Whoever was in charge should be embarrassed and ashamed.
